Apprenticeship contract

The apprenticeship contract provides students with employee status within the company that hires them. This arrangement enables them to continue their studies while receiving a salary based on a percentage of the French minimum wage (SMIC or SMC), depending on their age.

Professionalisation contract

The professional training contract grants students employee status within their host company. It allows them to pursue their training at school while receiving a salary based on a percentage of the French minimum wage (SMIC or SMC), depending on their previous training and age.

The contract's particularities

  • 12 or 24 month apprenticeship contract, depending on the course.

  • Free training for the student (paid for by the company’s OPCO).

Long-term internship agreement

Special features of the agreement drawn up in France

  • Internship agreement for a maximum of 132 days.
  • Trainee status.
  • Training paid for by the student (possibility of funding through the CPF or a third-party organisation).
  • Alternating work periods in the same way as the apprenticeship or professionalisation contract.
  • Gratuity of 3.90€/hour worked in the company (3,604€ for the entire work placement period).
  • Maximum 7 hours of work per day.

Initial

Student status

Students on the initial course will attend classes as indicate in their cursus. An internship (maximum 132 days/ 18 weeks) is compulsory to validate the diploma. Several offers are available on the student portal.

During the year, it is possible to switch to an apprenticeship programme if a contract is signed with a company.
