Accessible from a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Commerce & Marketing, the Marketing and Sales Manager leads projects and determines actions in marketing, sales, and participates in communication to ensure customer satisfaction with prospects for economic development for the company. He/she monitors the territory with a view to its marketing and sales development, and defines the company’s market positioning in relation to its competitors.

Holders of the Bachelor’s degree in Management, Commerce & Marketing are responsible for sales and marketing management and development, and take part in communications to detect trends, analyze needs and find new outlets. They identify the resources needed to carry out sales, marketing and communication development projects, and manage the teams working on identified projects.

Objectives

Take part in recruiting team members, negotiate sales targets with line managers and report on results, be autonomous within the scope of responsibilities entrusted.

Supervise and lead teams under the direction of a sector manager, optimize shelf sales for a supplier or develop sector sales. Ensure the marketing and physical presentation of products, and understand the principles of distribution and department management.

Take account of consumer trends in the country in which you work, and take all necessary steps to build customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Entry level / Prerequisites

Training available in 36 months after obtaining a vocational, technological or general baccalaureate or other Level 4 diploma.

12 months after obtaining a BTS/ DUT or other Level 5 diploma.

Teaching methods

500 hours of theory per year
Classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, i.e. 16 hours a week

Initial or work-study course (12 or 24 month apprenticeship or professionalization contract). If initial training, compulsory 6 week internship between the first and second years, and 12 weeks on the job in the third year.

Initial course: €8500 for each year of training
